JOB OVERVIEW:
Provide excellent customer service in the Hotel Market and Gift Shop. Make gourmet coffee, handle cash, and work POS system.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Greet and welcome guests.
* Project a professional image and manner with the awareness that all actions and communications are within guest view.
* Ability to work independently in an unsupervised position.
* Able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours per day.
* Ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly including service procedures, recipes, techniques, and Agilysys point of sale system.
* Collect and process forms of payment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be 18 years of age.
* TABC Certified and Food Handlers Certified or ability to acquire upon hire.
* Requires problem solving abilities.
* Requires excellent oral and written communications skills.
* Ability to comprehend reading materials.
* Fluently speak, read and write English.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
* Must have neat and pleasant overall appearance.
* Maintain a clean, safe and environmentally responsible work environment.
