This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Interstate Hotels and Resorts. The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel s employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.

Supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping staff, maintaining the maintenance/sanitation of the guest rooms, public areas and fitness center. Also supervises the laundry operations. Recommends and implements procedural changes. Monitors inventories and expenses, while promoting a safe environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, protection of assets and minimal expenses.

• Experience required by position is from two to three full years of employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s) with thorough knowledge of the Housekeeping field and supervision/management skills. Ability to compile facts and figures and understand guest supply cost per occupied room, room cleaning minutes per room.
• Ability to communicate information and hotel services to management and guests. Second language is helpful.
• Ability to operate computer systems, manage multiple priorities, be empathetic with staff as well as hold them accountable for performance.
