In this role you will manage the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department; plan, schedule, and organize workto ensure proper coverage while you communicate and enforce policies and procedures. The Executive Housekeeper will make sure allstaffare properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties and develop and implement procedures for managing quality of housekeeping and laundry services. He/She will control expenseswithin all areas of housekeeping and participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans which support the overall objectivesof the hotel.Each day you will conduct pre-shift meeting and reviewinformation pertinent to the day's activities. and establish par levels for supplies and equipment. Replenish shortages and other business supplies for daily business. You may assist with deep cleaning projects and/or assist housekeeping staff during unanticipated rush periods and may serve as "manager on duty" as required.
