About this job
Provide daily counterintelligence (CI) expertise and oversight in support of client operations. Participate in weekly or monthly panels to review and grant operational approvals. Conduct complete assessments of ongoing operations to identify CI issues and security vulnerabilities to enhance the integrity of client operations. Mentor new or junior teammates in vetting and validation tools and approvals. Provide guidance to client establishments abroad in support of operations. Be a team player. Find solutions to difficult operational CI issues.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with CI functional areas, vetting technologies and capabilities, analytic tools, and communications processes used in client operations
-Experience with client software, tools, and databases
-Experience with overseeing or conducting offensive and defensive operations
-Knowledge of the CI concepts, principles, and practices necessary to plan and conduct a range of CI support to operations, platforms, and research
-Knowledge of due diligence and how to conduct it
-Ability to analyze operations and recognize vulnerabilities and threats and provide solutions to enhance the security of a case or program
-Ability to convey possible and appropriate vetting options to improve operational security
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree and 8+ years of experience with the intelligence community (IC) and supporting client CI operations
Additional Qualifications:-Experience with organizing and presenting information in both oral and written forms
-Experience with operating abroad as part of an operational team
-Knowledge of a foreign language at the functional level
-Ability to conduct research securely via social media and other open source platforms
-Ability to show a proven record of accomplishing tasks under limited supervision and work either independently or as a member of a team
-Possession of excellent organizational and time management skills
-BA or BS degree in International Studies, Economic Policy, International Security, Sociology, Psychology, Linguistics, Library Sciences, General Humanities, or History
