Quad/Graphics is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Technician to join our Springfield, MA team located in East Longmeadow.

We offer:

Ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the areas of Electrical and Mechanical maintenance, machine installation, hydraulics and pneumatics, preventive maintenance, machine operation, and follow company safety procedures. Candidate must be able to work compressed work week-- 12-hour night shifts, including, nights, and weekends.

Must be a self-starter capable of working independently or as a team member. Prioritizing workload based on production needs. Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical/mechanical background in an industrial setting and be familiar with 110/220/480v power. Primary function of the position is to troubleshoot, repair, perform predictive and preventive maintenance on high speed production equipment.

Must have the ability to systematically solve problems; experience with industrial preventative maintenance, Servo Drives, AC/DC motors and drives. Allen Bradley, Siemens PLC experience and working knowledge of PLC’s installation and troubleshooting a plus.

Basic computer skills. Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment, mill, lath, welding, plumbing etc. is preferred.  Must have own hand tools. Willingness to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays. Follow all company Safety Policies and procedures.

Education and/or Experience:

High School/Trade school diploma or equivalent. Experience in industrial maintenance preferred. Minimum of 3 years Electrical/Mechanical experience or equivalent combination of related experience and education required.
