PrideStaff is looking for a Billing Clerk to for our logistics client located in Golden, CO. This is a temp to hire opportunity with an international company. This position will also cross train as a Trailer Inspector.
Job Duties:
- Give drivers Bills upon exiting
- Operate Scale
- Correctly maintain and generate required reports
- Process audits and file various documentation
- Communicate with customers, employees and the management team to ensure necessary requirements are met
- Ensure all paperwork and data entry is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with company standards
- Inspect all incoming loaded and empty trailers prior to being moved
- Ensure all information concerning incoming trailers is entered into the computer
- Communicate effectively to the truck dispatchers
- Communicate with all trucking firms on information concerning their trailers on a 24-hour basis
- Communicate with all truck drivers on where to stage certain trailers
- Makes decisions on the cleanliness of the trailers, both inside and outside
- Obtains the Bills of Lading from incoming loaded trailers, make copies and deliver to the appropriate departments to expedite payment for materials delivered
- Good communication skills
- Good data entry skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of experience in supply chain/logistics operations preferred
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operators license
- Must be willing to work outside for 50% of the shift
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
