Sheeter/Cutter II (Sheeter Operator)

• Setting up roll stand/ splicer
• Maintaining equipment and general cleaning of area
• Following plant processes and plant standard operating procedures
• Following plant safety policies and procedures, such as: PPEs, Ergonomics, Chemical Hazards, etc. Performs job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.
• Cross-train as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Run press speed capable for job.
• Correctly set press for a job.
• Recognize any problems with press or paper ad correct problems.
• Able to maintain press.
• Able to identify different kinds of stock.
  
  
  Qualifications
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent education and/or training.
• Be able to perform work related functions requiring basic math skills.
• Read a ruler.
• Read, speak and understand the English language sufficient to interpret instructions, job orders, production sheets, and work related documents.
• Able to clearly communicate instructions, directions, problems and malfunctions to co-workers, helpers and management.
• Clamp Truck experience is required.
• Fork Truck experience is required.
• Machine repair and maintenance experience preferred.
• Trouble shooting experience a plus.
• Frequently push/pull/move items such as: Rolls of paper weighing approximately 1,400-5,600+ lbs. with an initial push exertion of up to approximately 98lbs and sustained push of up to 35lbs.
• Use of mechanical or electrical hand pallet jack to lift and move pallets/skids with 1,500 lbs. of product.
