JOB SUMMARY:
* Responsible for dealing casino games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for Caesars guests and generate revenue for the department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Responsible for dealing casino games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for Harrah's guests and generate revenue for the department.
* Provide game instructions to guest when requested or as assigned in order to encourage game activity.
* Sponsors new dealers as needed in order to provide new hires with adequate on the job training.
* Provide game protection by keeping visual contact of all guests and game layout.
* Initiate courteous and friendly conversation with guests.
* Stay informed on property and departmental promotions and events.
* Professional attitude, always setting the example.
* Works well with others.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
* Must be 21 years of age.
* Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
* Must pass background check and uranalysis drug test.
* Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
* Must present a well-groomed appearance.
* Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
* Successful completion of certified Dealer School.
* Able to stand for extended periods of time.
* Able to communicate clearly and tactfully.
* Must be able to count currency
* Must be able to deal all games certified
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
* Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
* Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
* Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
* Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
* Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required.
