About this job

A Customer Care Specialist's role is focused on building the dream vacation experience for all customers. The Specialist provides a full range of support to both travel agents and consumers in a team-centric environment. This role is also responsible for exceeding our customer's service expectations while ensuring net sales goals are met. A successful Specialist will be able to support all customer contacts via multiple channels and will meet and/or exceed specific quality and sales metrics. Specialists will act as the voice of the customer by providing feedback to improve processes and gain customer loyalty.

* Provide sales and service support to both travel agents and consumers via phone, email and chat in order to increase brand profitability and assist in fulfilling customer's vacation expectations.


* Close the vacation sale by using all customer care guidelines, internal resources and learned techniques to fulfill customer requests. Increase the vacation sale value by offering alternatives, package options and upgrades


* Provide single point of contact support to multiple vacation brands as required


* Communicate and uphold policies pertaining to fulfillment of end-to-end vision


* Act as the voice of the customer by providing feedback of customer issues that impact the vacation experience


* Provide information regarding the status of travel documents/itineraries, payment acceptance and contents of documents/itineraries received


* Creatively find solutions to issues by making changes and revisions to shape future process improvements and eliminate repeat occurrences


* Immediately verify system/product errors as received


* Resolve pricing discrepancies and work competitive price matches


* Document all transactions, including bookings, refunds, and payments.
