About this job
The Video Service Technician will install, test, troubleshoot, adjust, network, repair and maintain all aspects of our video surveillance systems including Genetec, Milestone, Client Video, legacy stand-alone systems at customer sites. To that end, the Video Service Technician interacts directly with the client, I.T professional, client representatives, other contractors and personnel to ensure successful services and repair solutions. The Video Service Technician will ensure on the service orders that issues have been addressed and resolved accurately and on time, and that these services meet or exceed client expectations
Responsibilities:
* Maintain services and repairs to Genetec, Milestone, Client Video, and legacy stand-alone video surveillance systems.
* Interface with customers to insure their complete confidence in the security and video system.
* Verify completed work is documented accurately and consult with manager to resolve discrepancies.
* Maintain company owned vehicles, tools, equipment and individual tool issue.
* Maintain and protect access to customer buildings.
* All other duties as reasonably assigned
50% installing, troubleshooting, servicing equipment
25% driving site to site
25% customer service and report writing
