$15.00/hour start, then $16.00 hour after Training

As a Temp-To-Hire Chemical Operator Trainee your pay begins at $15/ hour and increases to $16/hour when you move to a regular 2nd shift position.
Training starts on 1st shift and lasts 2 to 4 weeks. After training you will work 2nd shift.

Packaging - Chemical Operator

JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Package bulk chemicals into containers using pumps, weigh scales, filling equipment and pouring methods
- Label, torque closure, seal carton, palletize and document accurately.
- Follow safety and regulatory policies for PPE, labeling, cGMP, batch tickets and documentation
- Obtain shift supervisor’s written approval for any deviations
- Operate and monitor equipment within specified parameters
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and machinery
- Operate forklift as required
- Maintain log sheets and document for production records
- Learn other processes to allow career progression
- Must be able to read and write in English
- GED or High School Diploma
- Chemical Process Technician certification course or an A.A.S. degree are preferred but not required
- Experience handling chemicals is preferred but not required
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Experience with RFID scanners and operating a shrink wrap machine are a PLUS
