Fitter - Full-time / Part-time

Waukesha County customer has multiple openings for Fitter Welder

         2nd shift openings

         $0.75 cent shift premium on 2nd shift

         $15-18/hr. based on experience

         Recent grads of the WCTC and MATC Welding Diploma programs encouraged to apply.  Starting pay range will be adjusted base on experience level.

 

Required:

         High School Diploma or equivalent

         Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen

         Not on a busline

         5+ years Mig hardwire welding experience due to complex weldments

         Experience with Wire diameter - .035, .045, .052

         Gas: Co2 or a mix (Argon/Co2, etc.) Company uses CO2, 95/5, 90/10, and 75/25

         Able to pass weld test - single pass fillet or multiple pass - Single pass, multi-pass, and V-up

 

Duties:

         Perform welding of a variety of weldments in this job shop environment.

         Will use overhead cranes to move materials

         Welding on Materials to include: Mostly carbon steel, but some limited Stainless on occasion.

         Range of materials thickness- 1/8 through 1", sometimes thicker.

         Some assembly as needed
