Kitchen Utility Person- Grant Grove Spring/Summer 2018

Our Exciting Work Environment

Located next to Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon Park is composed of two distinct areas – Grant Grove (home to the General Grant tree, also known as "the Nation's Christmas Tree") and Cedar Grove. Grant Grove visitors snap photos and marvel at the sheer size of the sequoia grove.  Kings Canyon is also home to Redwood Canyon, the largest remaining grove of sequoia trees in the world. 

 

Responsibilities

Operates dish machine, making sure it is in proper working condition and if not,                reports it to the appropriate supervis

Change ware as needed for best results.

Ensures work areas are neat, clean and well organized with strong attention to               sanitation.

Ensures that all items are dried before storing. Stores in a neat fashion and                     rotates stock so all items get used regularly.

Removes trash from dish-room, place it in dumpster and lock it. Cleans and                     sanitizes loading dock, stairwell and dish area.  

Keeps pots and storage racks clean, including surrounding floors and walls.

Follow all DNCPR Environmental GreenPath, GuestPath, NPS, and Safety                       policies and procedures.

 

The essential functions are not all inclusive. You may be required to perform duties other than those listed above.

 

 

Qualifications

·         Must be able to work fast under pressure.

·         Must have excellent teamwork skills and work well with others.

·         ANSI Food Handler Certificate 

HIRING WILL BEGIN IN MARCH AND CONTINUE THRU THE SEASON. WITH ALL SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT ENDING IN OCTOBER
