About this job
*Performs scheduled and preventative maintenance of equipment, machinery, electrical systems and structures using diagrams, manuals and written instructions while adhering to safety guidelines to ensure equipment is working so that efficient operations are maintained.
*Troubleshooting, diagnoses and repairs malfunctions promptly, including equipment and machinery malfunctions, using blueprints, diagrams, manuals and written instructions while adhering to safety guidelines to ensure equipment is working in order to maintain efficient operations.
*Constructs and installs or repairs equipment in order to maintain efficient operations.
Trains and instructs General Maintenance associates in maintenance of center, ensuring that maintenance is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Electrical Skill/Knowledge requirements:
*Demonstrate the knowledge and practical performance of testing electrical circuits by using the following: Voltage meters, Ampere meters, Ohmmeters. Demonstration will consist of using provided electrical blueprints and stating the various values given the circuit conditions.
*Be able to attach a computer or terminal monitor to an on and off line PLC without disturbing the operating characteristics of the system. The proper port must be selected on the first attempt to attach
* Explain the purposes of the LED indicators on the input/output modules
* Must be 18 years of age or older
