Sears Holdings is seeking an Email Campaign Specialist to join our Integrated Member Experience team, working on complex promotional email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a unique combination of technical ability, email/web marketing experience and project management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Extensive coordination with design, QA, project management and marketing departments on testing and execution of email campaigns.
  • Ability to setup complex and dynamic automated email campaigns using Oracle Interact.
  • Adhere to deadlines and expected deployment dates, while maintaining campaign accuracy.
  • Communicate professionally with multiple business units and vendors.
  • Ability to use the functions built into Oracle Interact to dynamically determine user-specific content.
  • Basic understanding of URLs and their components.
* Thoroughly test readability and accurate rendering across various email clients and ISP's.
* Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, repair broken links, and other aspects of email execution
* Build various test lists using SQL for testing and checking emails
  • Monitor campaign programs daily to ensure it deployed or is deploying smoothly and without issues.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in digital design, marketing or advertising is preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years email development experience, preferable with an agency or internal production department in a retail-driven environment.
Role Specific Abilities/Skills:
  • Experience setting up mobile responsive, dynamic email campaigns using an email service provider's platform.
  • Intermediate to moderate HTML and CSS programming skills.
  • SQL experience.
  • Proficient computer skills, including understanding of basic file extensions and office suite.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Professional email and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once.
  • Proficient in Email Marketing best practices for creating user-focused content.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams in a fast pace agency environment.
  • Ability to learn new technologies as needed.
  • Critical eye for detail with the ability to quickly troubleshoot and analyze work.
