Bloomingdale's is seeking a highly creative individual to join our Product Merchandising Team.
As a Merchandiser, you help create the customer's first impression of Bloomingdale's.
Key Accountabilities:
- Producing novel and unique concepts for merchandise presentation
- Producing quality work in a consistent, timely and organized manner
- Completing projects on time and being responsible for the project from start to finish
- Understanding and upholding Bloomingdale's high standards of merchandise presentation as they apply to placing product on the selling floor
- Be familiar with all markdowns, special promotions, clearance and advertised merchandise
Skills Summary:
- Creative and have strong experience in retail merchandising in ready to wear or home products
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
- Ability to work as part of a team, and take initiative independent of direct supervision; self starter
- Previous retail or related design or fashion experience preferred
- Flexibility with schedule, dependent upon business needs
