Job Summary: With a friendly, upbeat and positive attitude, extends a friendly greeting to our guests, issues claim tickets for vehicles, safely parks and retrieves guest vehicles.
Qualifications: Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years of age. Must possess a valid state driver's license, as well as a good driving record. Physical endurance and stamina, as well as effective communication skills required. Great interpersonal skills, cheerful attitude, and team player are required.
Essential Job Functions:
* Assists guests promptly and courteously in Valet check-in and check-out.
* Ensures expeditious service for all pick-ups from the Valet lot, in accordance with established safety guidelines.
* Parks vehicles in designated areas of the property, then accurately records the location of the vehicle onto a Valet receipt, which is attached to the appropriate keys and stored in the Valet key booth until the guest is ready to leave the property.
* Promptly clears staging area of cars to be parked.
* Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the Valet parking drop off/pick lanes.
* Maintains a working knowledge of Horseshoe Southern Indiana, as well as special events on property, in order to advise guests and fellow team members of same, whenever possible.
* Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4-6 hours).
Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
Must be able to run throughout shift and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
Responds to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures, as well as areas containing second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays.
