Irrigation Foreman

Giving Hope Lawn Management is looking for self-motivated leader to fill
the position of Irrigation Foreman.

This position is responsible for directly supervising a site team and
ensuring that crews work safely and efficiently. This position is
responsible for development and training; planning, assigning and directing
work; material and equipment management and maintenance; addressing and
resolving problems. Experience with installing and maintaining commercial
and residential irrigation systems is a must.

Minimum Requirements:
- Two years of professional irrigation installation and trouble shooting
- General knowledge of irrigation maintenance practices
- Can operate and maintain the following equipment: Trenching machine, wheel
barrow, hand tools
- Can meet the physical demands described below. (Reasonable accommodations
may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the
essential functions of the job.)
- Has full range of mobility in upper and lower body
- Able to work in various positions including, but not limited to,
standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting for extended periods of time
- Able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned
task
- Be able to lift 50 pounds frequently throughout the day
- Be able to walk on uneven terrain for extended periods of time
- Physical Exposure Includes (but is not limited to)
- Working outside in various weather conditions that may be hot, cold, wet
or turbulent
- Unusually loud noise level, working with and near moving mechanical parts
- Exposure to hazardous material such as pesticides, gasoline, oil and
grease


*Must have valid driver's license, be able to pass a back ground check, and
random drug testing.
