About this job
Automation Personnel Services is looking to hire an Electrical Supervisor for the Bessemer area. This is a long term, temp to hire position, and is a great opportunity to work for a locally owned company.
This is a first shift position, but hours may vary according to need.
Pay is depending on experience.
Job Duties:
Ability to bend conduit and do so aesthetically when conduit is exposed
Ability to repair/replace wiring, fixtures and other electrical components
Effectively interpreting blueprint/ technical drawings
Follow Guidelines to Maintain a Safe & Clean Working Environment
Following regulations for building codes based on NEC guidelines
Perform additional Administrative tasks such as monitor employee times and tasks
Performing electrical work duties safely (as described in NFPA-70 E guidelines)
Proficiently installing wiring, fixtures and other electrical components in new structures
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma & Valid Driver s License
Drug Screen and Background Check Required
Knowledge of Safe Work Practices and Proper PPE Requirements
MUST be willing to work doing tasks outside of this description as needed, including housekeeping duties in work area
Must Have Minimum of 5 Years Electrical Experience
Reliable and Timely Transportation
Self-Sufficient and Self-Motivated
Willingness to Lead, Motivate, and Monitor Team of Electricians to meet Production Needs
Willingness to Work Overtime as Needed, Including Weekends
Working Knowledge of Construction Math, Blueprint and Technical drawing interpretation, and hand/power tool use - including use of conduit bender.
