Full Time Asst. Kitchen Mrg - Full-time

Daylight Donuts is a small family owned business. We make all of our donuts the old fashion way, by hand and fresh everyday! Are you ready to take that next step in your career? We are seeking a 2nd Shift Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our family! You will directly supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in preparing and serving food.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation of food service staffMonitor quality of products and services produced
• Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
• Maintain health standards for raw and finished products

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or other related fieldsKnowledge of common food safety practices
• Strong leadership qualitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Respect for others
• Integrity in all actions

Physical Requirements:

• :Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:

• Must have the ability to solve practical problems; variety of variables with limited standardization; interpret instructions.
• Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Must have the ability to file, post, and mail materials; copy data from one record to another; interview to obtain basic information; guide people and provide basic direction.
