Free People Assistant Flat Stylist
Objective
The Assistant Flat Stylist helps facilitate the current look and feel of the brand through still-life styling. They must maintain in-depth knowledge of current brand identity and future direction, as well as be aware of current trends within fashion. Experience with styling a different array of products is key as this individual will be working with an array of items such as accessories, intimates, and home items. Our work environment relies heavily on teamwork and we are seeking someone who is a great communicator and works well in groups.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate photo shoots
* Styling of all web photography product including soft goods, accessories, and home.
* Attend weekly e-commerce turnovers
* Work closely with Still Life Photographers to make sure all product details are shown and representative of the Brand.
* Work with Web Studio Manager to manage pace of product shots to ensure all product photos are completed in a timely manner.
* Keep track of in-coming samples as well as received samples in the studio
Skills
* Prior experience flat styling
* Understanding of Free People brand as well as the customer and applicable trends.
* Exceptional organizational, time management and detail oriented skills.
* Ability to work well in a team work oriented environment through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines
* Basic clothing prep (hand-steaming)
* Ability to work on a variety of projects at one time.
