Requirements

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Proficient spoken and written English
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical
• Prior heavy equipment experience preferred
• Prior welding experience preferred
• Prior mining/rock crushing experience preferred
• Must be able to safely wear a half face mask for up to 12 hours at a time

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as: Komatsu 465, 400 haul trucks, 500 Komatsu loaders, 360 and 490 K excavators
• Making Grade per DOT/customer requirements
• Proper screen selection capability
• Adjust and manage a cone crusher
• Monitor crushing operations; perform labor as needed for maintenance.
• Cleans up spilled material around conveyors using shovel and/or skid steer
• Operates the plant to provide maximum production and efficiency
• Conducts daily inspections, maintenance, fueling and operation of equipment
• Operates equipment in a safe manner; always in control of equipment
• Produce material that will provide the most consistent, highest quality end products
• Lubricate, adjust or repair machinery and replace parts, such as gears, bearings etc
• Perform manual labor to prepare or finish sites, such as shoveling by hand
• Know and follow all company safety policies as well as MSHA regulations
• Practice safety at all times
• Perform other general laborer duties as required

• Working Conditions and Expectations

• May work up to twelve hour shifts
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to communicate and coordinate with co-workers and supervisors
• Must have high safety standards for self and others
• Must be willing to work any assigned shift, overtime, weekends and holidays
• Must have the ability to stand for 6-12 hours on uneven sandy/rocky surfaces
• Must have the ability to lift 60 to 80 pounds without mechanical assistance
• Must have the ability to bend or stoop
• Must have the ability to climb on and off equipment and ladders
• Must be able to work at heights
• Must have the ability to work in damp, dimly lit and confined work areas

  Shift Details

• Night Shift Differential of $2.00 /per hour
• Schedule 2 week rotation schedule/ 12 hours shifts / OT paid for hours over 40
• Week 1- Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat
• Week 2 - Sun, Wed, Thurs
