Sears Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is looking for an experienced Software/Applications Architect with strong engineering background to create and support the services for Identity and Access Management.
The Security IAM team owns a variety of processes and software applications. This includes Enterprise ID creation and disablement, email access, domain and LAN access, mainframe access, shared drive creation and access, remote access, and a variety of application access controls. The team also owns, develops, and supports software applications Cyberark (privileged access), MyAccess/Aveska (application and platform access), and Tivoli Access Management (Web Single Sign On access management).
Architect owns the scope and process definition, design, project management, and technical aspects of the system, and provide suggestions to improve and automate processes. This position researches and develops new technologies and processes/algorithms, and introduces them to the enterprise as needed to improve costs and customer satisfaction. Works in conjunction with Security Compliance, Application, and Operations teams, along with Network and other teams, on cross over projects and architect and design activities.

Responsibilities:
- Lead on design (process and technical) and implementation for various Access management initiatives. This includes working with various teams to develop scope, create buy-in from teams inside and outside of IT Security, documentation, and lead development teams on implementation.
- Work with a variety of teams on research, design, and developing processes and roles for Identity and Access Management team around usage and access control for a variety of public clouds (AWS, Google, Azure, etc.).
- Mentor onsite and offshore engineers to ensure best software development practices are followed
- Keep abreast of the new technologies and trends
- Responsible to develop proof of concept for the application of new processes and technologies
- Resolve complex architectural, design and development issues
- BS in Computer Science or a related field with at least five (5) years of experience as Architect
- Information Technology Security experience preferred.
- Expertise in the design, development, integration and validation of software services.
- Working knowledge and experience of application development and migration to public cloud. AWS or Google Cloud experience is preferable.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt as assignments vary based upon team, company and security needs.
- Cyberark (or related tool) Privileged Access control experience is preferable.
