Gigi's Kitchen is home to the amazing Wallis centralized kitchen facility food production and packaging team, creating fresh delicious 'grab and go' food options for customers at retail and entertainment locations across the greater St. Louis metro.

Every Kitchen Associate is responsible for providing customers with the best quality food product possible. Kitchen Associates are also expected to operate each shift efficiently, within USDA and Company policy. The term “Kitchen Associate” applies to both full and part time positions in food prep, cooking, packaging, sanitation, etc. for all work shifts.

• Home-make Chips with Dip, Yogurt Parfaits, and Other Snacks

Job Requirements
Education:
Preferred: Equivalent to high school diploma.

Experience:
Preferred: 3+ months food service experience in a kitchen or restaurant, cafe, bakery, etc.

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Self-motivated with high energy
Passion for food and customer service
Goal oriented, and safety oriented
Ability to perform routine duties involving use of various procedures including general math, the use of thermometers, log sheets and understand and use the tracker/build to system
Appreciation for teamwork, combined with an ability to work independently
Willingness to work in a cold environment

Technology, Tools, And Equipment:
Required: Computer, Telephone, Electric Slicer, Dishwasher, Fryer, Knives, Other equipment necessary for food service operations

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations:
Required: Hepatitis A vaccination (must be completed upon hire)
Preferred: Basic Sanitation (must be completed when course is offered)


Wallis employees are required to adhere to company dress code and personal appearance policies without exception. New hires must pass pre-employment drug screen within 48 hours of hiring decision.

Weekly $50.00 bonus to all Gigi's Associates who meet the following 2 requirements:
1. Arrive on time to all 4 shifts per week
2. Work until the job is done all 4 shifts per week
