We will be conducting interviews on-site at 19025 Golden Valley Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91387. We are hiring for the following: Cashier/Cooks/Dishwasher/Lobby attendants

Job Summary Customer Service

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests by taking orders, making recommendations when appropriate, processing payments, and serving food or beverages to customers at the counter or table. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation including preparing beverages and arranging food items.

Primary Job

o Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.

o Serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers.

o Prepare bills for food, and accept payment or make change.

o Cook food or prepare food items, such as sandwiches, chicken, side dishes and desserts according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications or following directions.

o Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.

o Balance receipts and payments in cash registers.

o Wrap menu item such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts for serving or for takeout.

o Scrub and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment, and clean glasses, dishes, and fountain equipment.

o Replenish foods at serving stations.

o Brew lemonade and tea, and fill containers with requested beverages.

o Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.

o Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurant.

o Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

o Take guests' orders and write ordered items on tickets, giving ticket stubs to customers when needed.

o Order items needed to replenish supplies.

o Serve chicken, vegetables, biscuits, and drinks; ladle sides and sauces and fill beverage cups.

o Set up dining areas for meals and clear them following meals.

o Deliver orders to kitchens, and pick up and serve food when it is ready.

o Add condiments and sauces to food orders, according to instructions.

Minimum Qualifications

o Able to communicate effectively with managers and kitchen personnel

o Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds

o Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

o Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.

o Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.

o Cook and package batches of food, such as fried chicken, which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold or expired.

o Prepare specialty foods such as fish and shrimp, sandwiches and desserts, following specific methods that usually require short preparation time.

o Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or ovens.

o Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.

o Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.

o Take food and drink orders and receive payment from customers.

o Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.

o Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.

o Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.

o Serve orders to customers at windows, counters, or tables.

o Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee and fountain drinks.

o Pre-cook items such as bacon, to prepare them for later use.

o Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.

o Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurant.

o Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

o Mix ingredients such as batters.o Schedule activities and equipment use with managers, using information about daily menus to help coordinate cooking times.

o Prepare dough, following a recipe.o Order and take delivery of supplies.
