Food Prep and Runner

Our food runners ensure that every Chopr has exactly what is needed at all times. With our runners' support and hard-work, every customer experience can become Better.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring every station is stocked with choppings and dressings throughout the shift
• Managing inventory of ingredients during a shift and alerting management if any ingredient needs replenishment
• Moving with a sense of urgency to ensure the line is filled with product and clean supplies
• Removing soiled bowls, mats and scrapers from the line and delivering them to the dish station
• Performing general cleaning duties and maintenance of the restaurant before, during and after the shift to include taking out the garbage, sweeping and mopping
• Keeping the line clean, dry, and safe for the team to work
• Assisting team with the line set up or food prep as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be able to lift boxes and food trays up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and communicate in basic English to customers as needed
• Must understand and execute food safety and sanitation protocols
• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant is preferred but not required
• Must understand and execute food safety and sanitation protocols
• Standing, stooping, kneeling, walking, wiping, reaching, bending and lifting are required actions throughout a shift
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities during the shift
• Must be able to perform duties that require standing and fast movement

Work Conditions/Hours:

• Hours will vary and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
• All Chopt employees will be hired on a variable hour basis. Hours are scheduled based on performance and business necessities.
