As Santa Cruz County's heart attack (STEMI) receiving center, Dominican Hospital provides cutting edge cardiac care. The hospital's heart attack treatment times consistently beat the national average, and the hospital offers two cardiac catheterization labs available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Responsibilities
The Laboratory Technician II collects and processes laboratory specimens under the general direction of licensed laboratory personnel.
Special Training: (including licenses/certifications): Required:
* Current California State certification as Phlebotomist.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
Preferred:
* Valid drivers license and proof of insurance if using own vehicle.
Experience: (minimum, plus desired): Preferred:
* 2 years acute care experience (or similar work setting).
