Certified Medical Assistant - Clinic - Full-time / Part-time

Description Assists physicians with direct patient care. Prepares patients and assists physician with minor surgical procedures. Takes vitals, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Maintains inventory of supplies, sterilizes instruments and equipment. May complete lab tests and/or x-rays with the scope of CMA credentials. Requirements Qualifications: Current state license to practice nursing. Graduate from accredited school of practical nursing or vocation nursing. Previous experience working in clinic or office setting preferred. Current BLS Certification. Working knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT coding Must have understanding of documentation standards. IV certification preferred.
