The LASC Preop/Recovery Registered Nurse is a member of the patient care team responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient outcome(s) in response to pre and post operative patient care. This position must stress patient's rights, patient safety issues, excellent outcomes, and patient/family home care education when planning this care. Performs preop and recovery of surgery center patients. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. License: Current California RN license; Current BCLS certification for the healthcare provider, ACLS and PALS. Experience: At least 12 months experience in an acute care setting within the past two (2) years.
