Job Summary
Operates x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of body as ordered by the physician. Positions and instructs the patient of the examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines the proper voltage, current and desired exposure time for each radiograph. Capable of doing specialized studies and must be versatile in all operations.
Requirements
• Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
• Certification: Technologists (ARRT) and Certification of Radiologic Technologist (CRT) from the State of California Department of Health Services.
• 1-2 years' experience in radiologic technology preferred.
• RN new grads are not eligible .
