As a PROFESSIONAL BARISTA, you will need to be organized and enjoy hard work. You will have to be able to prioritize job responsibilities and hold to a very structured and specific coffee and espresso program.

We offer competitive full-time hourly pay (starting from $11/hr to $12/hr), determined by skill assessments. A shared tip-pool offers up to an additional $5.50/hr, depending on season and location. Full-time employees are also offered a benefits package that includes healthcare options (medical, dental, vision) and paid time off. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Welcome and connect with each individual guest & customer.
  • Constant attention to the door and the line.
  • Strive to exceed expectations of customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and customer engagement.
  • Ensure quality and consistency never wavers by adhering to strict guidelines and requirements for espresso dosing, distributing, shot times, volumes, milk stretching and latte art.
  • Follow precise steps and procedures for drink construction.
  • Meet Company standards of culinary excellence in coffee and food service.
  • Demonstrate a dedication and passion in making excellent drinks and latte art.
  • Work as a team to ensure seamless, high quality, memorable customer experiences and contribute to store profitability through increased sales and return customers.
  • Proactive, attentive and professional demeanor.
  • Maintain a positive and professional appearance and attitude at all times.
  • Follow and adhere to all Company policies and standards.
  • Follow and adhere to all health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Follow Company standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing of products
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Full-time and open availability
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have a passion for serving, caring and learning.
  • Minimum 2 years of barista or bartender experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to count in and out a cash drawer.
  • Passion and enthusiasm to clean and to be clean.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and neat work environment at all times.
  • Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Food and beverage or hospitality service experience, including table service, is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to successfully uphold quality and consistency in all items prepared and delivered.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to accommodate business levels.
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Detail oriented and positive attitude a must.
  • WA State Food Worker Card.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time or the entire shift.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Operate and use all equipment necessary.
  • Process information/merchandise through POS system.
  • Handle food and hot beverages.
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store.
  • Standing, walking, talking and hearing.
