Sitter Wanted - Seeking an educated, professional afternoon nanny - Full-time / Part-time

Seeking an exceptional afternoon nanny for school-age children. Qualified candidates will have extensive experience working with multiple young children, have strong educational foundation and display utmost professionalism. Regular schedule is Monday to Friday from 3pm to 8pm and location is on the Upper East Side, Manhattan. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Manage daily care and supervision of young, school-aged children o Pick-up/drop-off to/from schools, activities, appointments, etc. o Bathe and dress children o Prepare and serve dinner and snacks o Prepare children for bed time, etc. Create a safe, educational and fun environment o Assist with homework and developmental activities o Supervise and encourage cooperative playtime Light housekeeping including dishes, laundry, cleaning up, etc. Implement proper manners in accordance with familys wishes Following family protocols and procedures Requirements Display strong work ethic, integrity, and honesty Must be extremely reliable and punctual Be polished, professional and respectful Flexibility to work overtime, overnight and/or travel with family, as requested Have an excellent command of English Ability to follow directions, both written and spoken Ability to work successfully in a team setting Ability to be highly discreet in preserving the confidentiality and privacy of a high-profile family Candidates must hold a valid US passport or Green Card; have excellent, verifiable references; undergo a background and credit check. Health records and/or health visits, such as immunizations and flu shots, may be required.
