The Team

At TJX our 40 year history gives us great confidence in our ability to continue our successful growth for many years to come. Our expanding Global Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise (CoE) is proud of the role we play supporting this incredible growth. As a key support function of the CoE, our Talent Acquisition Strategic Initiatives and Recruitment Operations Team is responsible for developing programs and supporting initiatives to assist with the delivery of TJX talent goals. The team has oversight for the following programs and initiatives:
  • TA Technology Suite
  • Channel Management
  • Employment Brand
  • Career Site Management
  • Candidate Engagement and Experience
  • Process and Program Improvement
  • TA Analytics and Reporting

This team has a major role interacting and aligning with Talent Acquisition Leaders and Human Resources Leadership to support the strategic goals of the Talent Acquisition CoE globally. We’re looking for a strong team member to support the evolution of the Global Talent Acquisition function within TJX. The Talent Acquisition Strategy Specialist will be required to work at all levels to facilitate decision-making, accountability, and results. This role requires discretion, intense focus, and quick turnaround, leveraging resources from across the company globally, to develop and execute critical elements of Talent Acquisition’s strategy. As a member of a small, fast-paced team, the role provides unparalleled perspective and exposure.


Responsibilities:
  • Strategic analysis: scan, qualify and assess tools, technologies and opportunities that support short and long term TA roadmaps
  • Project Management: Drive strategic projects and assist TA & HR leaders on making critical business and operational decisions
  • Strategic Planning: Plan for project success within committed timelines and budget, to include defining roadmaps, facilitating decision-making on priorities and organizational changes
  • Partnership: Engage with cross-functional leaders and partners on a regular basis to drive strategy planning and recommend solutions for opportunities and challenges
  • Ability to Influence: Support strategic direction in Talent Acquisition to the overall HR and Business strategic priorities
  • Communications Management: Create and manage effective communication plans and processes to ensure alignment regarding decisions, change management activities and expected outcomes

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years comparable Talent Acquisition/Human Resources Operations experience preferably in a fast pace, changing environment
  • Must work on site at our Framingham, MA worldwide headquarters

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Solid strategic planning capabilities
  • Proven program and project management skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex constructs into understandable ideas
  • High-energy strong analytical thinker with excellent judgment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
  • Developed presentation skills
  • Organized, detail oriented, and resourceful
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint with SharePoint, Visio and Smart Sheet strongly preferred
