Mechanical Designer

LOOKING FOR A MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Responsibilities:

- Convert existing or outdated drawings into 3D models
- Prepare layouts and designs for Engineering team to use for equipment upgrades
- Some drawings will be brand new and designed from scratch
- Interface with Electrical Engineers to ensure mechanical designs are encompassing proper space for wires, circuits, etc.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree preferred; would entertain other technical degrees with applicable experience
- Experience with machine and machine part design
- 3D CAD experience - Pro/E and Creo is needed for this position
- Experience with full-cycle engineering processes and customer application
