*Entry Level* Analytical Chemist

AEROTEK IS HIRING AN ENTRY LEVEL ANALYTICAL CHEMIST IN THE KINGSPORT, TN AREA!!

The Research Analytical Chemist provides laboratory services for the support of research, development, and manufacturing activities mainly in a R&D environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing. T

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following; other duties may be assigned.

• Analysis of raw materials, intermediates and finished products (foam samples).
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment (i.e., GC/MS, HPLC, LC/MS, GPC, pH meter).
• Upkeep and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
• Prepare standards and sample solutions, mobile phase as required.
• Method development, validation, and writing.
• Participate in cross functional teams.
• Analysis review and approval.
• Report writing.
• Input to budget.
• Maintains appropriate documentation (records and lab notebooks).
• Complies with all cGMP and safety requirements, laboratory SOP's and company policies and procedures.
• Complies with good housekeeping and safety practices.
• Performs related duties as assigned\
