General Laborer (Auto Lot Porter) - Full-time / Part-time

AEROTEK is seeking to hire an Automotive Lot Coordinator. The incumbent of this role will be working in a massive automotive lot environment and will be responsible for inspecting cars upon arrival for damage and then instructing Lot Porters where to take the car to be repaired at one of the mechanic shops on the lot. This position will require the use of an iPad and for the individual to be on their feet 6-8 hours per day. Prior basic knowledge of vehicles is required as the incumbent will need to specify what parts of the vehicle need to be repaired.

Job Description - Yard Attendant:

• Vehicle check-in
• Take photos of vehicle on digital camera
• Vehicle clean-up and preservation
• Auction preparation
• Responding to customer needs

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess valid Drivers License
• Experience in the equipment rental, auto/transportation, or construction industry and/or related field preferred
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal communication
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Ability to function well as part of a team
• DMV check, background check, & drug screen upon offer of employment

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience
• Previous forklift operating experience is a plus
• Basic automotive repair skills

Shift:

Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00, Optional Saturday at 1.5x rate

Pay Grade:

$13.00 p/h
