Vestas is currently looking for hard working Production Workers to join our rapidly growing team! Working at a Vestas Factory, you produce industry leading turbines for the pioneer of wind energy.

Vestas has invested $1 billion to establish four North America manufacturing facilities and currently employs more than 3,500 in Colorado and more than 5,000 in the United States and Canada. The Blades factory in Brighton produces 3 types of wind turbine blades, one reaching nearly 190 feet (57 meters) long weighing 9 tons!

Production Worker - Wind Turbine Manufacturing

Responsibilities
- Load, stack, and transport materials by hand, fork lift or crane.
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece, and sequence of operations.
Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work-piece as guides for subsequent processing.

- Reach goals set by production needs daily.
Polish and sand with grinding discs or sandpaper.
Clean interior surfaces of holes.

- Apply abrasive compound or other dressing to facilitate pore filling or polishing.

- Operate sanders, grinders, drills and other similar tools.

- Verifies dimensions, conformance and alignment of finished work-piece specifications.

- Work with various epoxy resins and hardeners in hand with various composites to achieve structural performance.

- Dedication to keeping a clean work space at all times to increase efficiency and safety for all employees.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three years' experience with dry wall finishing, carpentry or concrete finishing strongly desired
One year experience with auto body work or fiberglass repair preferred
Strong natural ability to work in teams, high degree of adaptability & flexibility
Experience in a fast paced production environment .
