Master Plumber - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionBONUS up to $2000.00 (based on experience)Hopper Mechanical is seeking to fill an immediate opening for a Master Plumber. The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a current Master Plumber license issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing ExaminersThe ideal candidate should also be able to perform the following duties:
  • Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems in accordance to specifications and plumbing codes
  • Service, maintain, install, and test water, natural gas, and sewer distribution systems
  • Possess the ability to read and comprehend schematic drawings, blueprints and specifications
  • Leak location experience: mark position of pipes, pipe connections, and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors. Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings with appropriate, task-specific hand tools and power tools. Cut and thread pipes with pipe cutter, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine
  • Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains. Locate, identify, and mark water, sewer, and natural gas systems
  • Repair or replace damaged and worn distribution system pipes, valves, and fittings. Weld holding fixtures to steel structural members
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining job site safety protocols; adherence to job site requirements established by commercial clients; report accidents, injuries, and hazardous situation to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner
  • Perform all assigned work-related duties as assigned and complete them in a timely, accurate manner
  • Ability to work independently, with or without close supervision; communicate professionally with subordinates, peers, management, and customers
