CNA's/Experienced Caregivers needed ASAP!!! - Full-time / Part-time

Our team is responsible for improving the daily lives of the clients we serve across the region. Depending on the care needed, your job duties will vary. Some members of our team simply provide companionship and ensure the client has a higher quality of life. Other openings require more hands on care (which typically require certification).

We have the following positions available:

Edgehill Community, 37203

Mon-Tue-Wed-Thu 9am-3pm Friday 9am-12pm

88 yr old female client. History of HTN, asthma, hypercholesterolemia, anemia, general memory loss and generalized weakness. Standby assistance with transfers, maximum assistance with bathing/dressing, meal preparation, housekeeping and laundry. Has permanent catheter, wears depends/uses bed pads. FALL RISK

Sun-Sat 8am-1pm Sun-Tue-Thu-Sat 4pm-7pm

86 yr old female client(lives in facility with husband). History of Dementia, Low Pulse Rate, Anxiety, Memory Loss.Must be transferred using gait belt. Maximum assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming. Requires assistance with eating (meals provided by facility). Unable to communicate well. FALL RISK

87 yr old male client. Diagnosed with Dementia, Sundowners. Fall precaution, standby assist with transfers/ambulation (must use gait belt, uses cane, walker and wheelchair) . Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, med reminders, meal prep, housekeeping and errands. Blood pressure must be taken during shift. FALL RISK

47 yr old female client. Paraplegic, from traumatic gunshot wound in 2004. Very independent. Requires assistance with transfers, bathing, dressing, personal care, toileting, meal preparation, housekeeping and errands. FALL RISK

CNT's/Caregivers must be able to:

Perform personal care in assisting with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

• Personal Hygiene (Bathing/Showering, Hair/Mouth/Skin Care, Grooming)
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Eating/Feeding
• Continence/Incontinence Care and Toileting
• Housekeeping/Homemaker Duties (i.e. dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, meal prep/clean up, clean bathroom, change be linens/laundry).
• Medication Reminders

Applicants must have the following to apply:

• 1 year of professional care-giving experience (in-home or facility) or a CNA/HHA license in the state of Tennessee.
• 2 valid forms of identification (i.e. drivers license, social security)
• Show proof of up-to-date auto insurance, have a valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Must be able to pass a 7 point pre-employment background check
• Must be 18 years of age.
