Overview of the Position: The 12V/24V Installation & Service Technician is a key member of our team, directly reporting to the Field Manager and closely interacting with our scheduling team. This role is responsible for the installation and repair of GPS Fleet Tracking / AVL / Telematics Equipment into customer vehicles of all types. A key factor in our recruiting effort is to find a candidate that has a strong alignment with our core values and our dynamic company culture. We do our jobs well and have fun doing them. Product Installation - Installation of electronic products (AVL, telematics, mobile electronics, navigation equipment, communication equipment, and security/remote start/tracking equipment).Outdoor work required regularly in all weather conditions.
Troubleshooting - Effectively diagnose/repair issues with electronic products (AVL, telematics, mobile electronics, navigation equipment, communication equipment, and security/remote start/tracking equipment).
Sales Process Support - On occasion, support the sales team with the execution of new orders and management of new and existing customers.
Product Knowledge - Attend all scheduled product education sessions to stay up to date on current products and services.
Telephone/Email Reception - Receive and respond to all telephone and email inquiries. Daily work updates and work sheets must be submitted prior to the end of each day.
Organization and Cleanliness - Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of all assigned field inventory, company assigned equipment, uniforms, laptop, smartphone, and vehicle.
