Forklift Operator

Looking for Forklift/ Cherry Pickers. This is for a distribution center in the in the I-20 and Bonnie View area. This is a climate controlled facility and Temp to Hire Opportunity.

Job Description

• Pulling orders for a distribution center
• Monday - Friday weekends as needed
• Pay rate: $11.50 / hour

As a Forklift Operator / Cherry Picker / Order Selector, you will:

• Load and unload designated trailers and/or route trucks
• Relocate product throughout warehouse
• Move product and/or materials safely as required
• Lift Operators are responsible for performing safe, accurate and timely shipping and receiving procedures in the facilities warehouse

Requirements

• Ability to do basic math skills
• Minimum 1 Year of order Picker/Cherry Picker Experience
• Ability to operate RF scanner system; previous experience preferred
• Ability to lift 35-50 lbs.
• Flexibility to be cross trained on equipment and functions
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English
• Strong attention to detail
• Accuracy in your work
• Ability to stand for long periods 8+ hours
• Excellent attendance at current or previous employment
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

The ideal Forklift candidate will also have:

• At least 6 months of recent experience operating a Cherry Picker forklift
• Basic data entry skills
• Documentation skills
• Record for safety in the workplace
