Job Responsibilities:
Member Experience
with new and existing members and their children to get them engaged in our
revenue programs
outstanding customer service by developing positive relationships with members
extensive knowledge of Life Time programs, products, services, policies, and
procedures
team members initiate, develop and maintain personalized relationships with
members and their children
and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns
Kids Manager with all Big Four Club events
hosts birthday parties, PNO, supervises and promotes summer camp and other Kids
revenue programs
Sales
&Promotion
promotes and sells all Kids programs throughout the club and in the community
to increase participation
and organizes special events throughout the year to promote value to the
members for club participation and increase attendance in fee based programs
all Life Time programs, products, and services
team members continually increase their knowledge of Life Time products,
services, policies and procedures
Financial
&Budgetary
attendance of programs
management and participates in the annual planning process
profit and loss statements and makes necessary adjustments within the
department
within the budgetary guidelines for Kids Activities TMs
programs
various program including:
- Birthday Parties
- Summer Camps
- Rock Climbing programs and Open Climbing
- Parent s Night Outs
- Martial Arts and Youth Fitness
- Kids Events
instructors, orientation, direction, and feedback as assigned
Responsibilities
of All Positions
- Supports and articulates the Life Time Mission
statement - Adheres to company policies and procedures
- Ensures cleanliness of the club using all 5
senses: - Sight to ensure club is neat and orderly
- Sound to ensure music/sound levels are
appropriate - Touch to ensure floors, countertops, etc are
clean and dry - Taste to ensure the food&beverages in
the caf are up-to-standards - Smell to ensure the club is fresh and order
free
Customer
Service:
- Demonstrates positive attitude and actions
through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality,
sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
Safety
responsibilities include:
- Complies with all company safety rules
- Uses all required safety devices and personal
protection equipment - Reports accidents and injuries to supervisor as
soon as possible - Participates in safety training and safety
inspections - Suggests methods of preventing hazards to
safety committee
Qualifications
Education:- High
School diploma or GED - Two-year
college degree (preferred)
- Two-years customer service experience
- Two-years management or supervisory experience
- Two-years managing financials of a department in a
profit&loss environment - One-year experience teaching or working in a
children s program (preferred) - One-year experience in day care setting as a lead
teacher or two consecutive summers of camp experience with increased
responsibility (preferred)
- CPR
- First Aid
- Early Childhood Education Certificate preferred
- Successfully complete and pass Kids Manager
Certification
Must complete all state
or federal requirements prior to first day of directly working with children or
within other specified timeframe.
Requirements vary by state.
These
requirements may include but are not limited to:
- Tuberculosis test
- All required vaccinations (or signed exemption)
- Fingerprints taken by a local police department
for a background check - Background checks required by state specific
child care licensing laws that are in addition to Life Time background check - Continuing education courses for continued
employment in working with children - Infant and Children First Aid and CPR
Certifications
All

Math Ability
Basic:Ability to perform basic calculations such as addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability -
Basic:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to research and solve simple problems usually in standardized
situations.
Technical Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual
must have basic personal computer knowledge and the ability to properly use the
time clock.
