Irrigation Technician

About the Job----------We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as an Irrigation Technician for our Landscape Maintenance department that operates throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Employment would be through our office located in Fort Worth, Texas. We are looking for a bright, energetic, team player who is detail oriented, has a strong work ethic and takes ownership of his/her work.

Description:

Applicants should possess the following minimal qualifications:

• -Irrigation Technicians are responsible for repairing and maintaining commercial and/or residential irrigation systems and installing systems and ensuring that they function efficiently
• -Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, installing and initializing clocks and timers, locating existing zones and valves and performing pump repairs
• -Adhering to our safety policy and ensuring that the public will be safe while in contact with crews
• -Reporting results to Production Manager or Ownership.
• -Ensuring that customers are satisfied completely through effective communication, relationship building and regular site visitsRequirements:
  • -Minimum of 2 year experience working with commercial or residential irrigation systems (Tech License Required)
  • -Valid and Clean Texas Drivers License
  • -Strong work ethic
  • -Must Speak English and Spanish is a plus
  • -Must have transportation to and from work
  • -Effective oral and written communication skills
  • -Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • -Experience with customer service
  • -Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • -Irrigation certification a plus
  • -Good physical shape is needed in order to be able to perform activities in completion of assigned work
  • -Experience in supervising crew members
  • -Operating knowledge of all lawn care equipment including mowers, edgers, tractors, trailers and other standard lawn care maintenance equipmentFinal Notes:
