Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager

Prime Steakhouse, Redmond's premiere upscale-casual restaurant is looking for an experienced, professional Sous Chef that is looking to moving up to Kitchen Manager/Chef. The Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a full service and preferably scratch kitchen. Applicant must be will be involved in scheduling, staffing, training, placing orders, controlling inventory, and must know how to work within a budget, as well as being able to cost, create, and plate menu items. This is a working position and sous/kitchen manager will be expected to be able to run a busy line in a professional and respectful manner. Will have the chance to be creative with specials for lunch & dinner.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:* Working with Chef to learn all recipes and standards.* Weekly inventory.* Managing both BOH labor and budget.* Menu consistency and development.* Creating an environment of pride in product and environment.* A clear understanding of the brand we are creating.Benefits:* Performance based bonus when mile markers are reached.* Paid vacation.* Health insurance in 90 days of proven performance.
