CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer (2nd & 3rd shift openings) SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: * Build tight tolerance stamping tooling & press components for in-housemetal stamping presses. * Create NC programs utilizing Mazatrol controller & MasterCam offline software. Responsible for creating NC programs, setting up machine & operating machine. * Design & build special fixturing to manufacture required tooling, hard turning experience is a plus. * Maintain perpetual tooling inventory of blanks within group technology. * Maintain sufficient tools, cutters, and supplies to perform their operation. * Assist in keeping tool room equipment and work area clean and organized. Lubricating machines daily and identifying equipment problems. * Operating equipment in a safe manner and promote safety. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent experience. * Possesses a strong background in the metal industry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a tool and die maker or CNC programmer/operator. * Adept at operating the following equipment: * All toolroom grinding equipment * Manual tool room lathes and mills * Cut-off and band saws * Ability to program and operate a CNC Lathe. Mazatrol preferred. Mastercam. * Ability to read and interpret blue prints. * Is regarded as creative, a self-starter and adaptable. * Has good mechanical, organizational and interpersonal skills. * Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
