Senior Commercial HVAC Estimator

Job DescriptionSenior Commercial HVAC Estimator needed to join our growing company based in Dallas, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified estimator to join this firm, which has been in business since 1972. We will offer a $2500 signing bonus and benefit package to the hired candidate.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare comprehensive cost and labor estimates for heating, process piping, and sheet metal trades for project bid proposals, to include analyzing blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation Prepare competitive, redeemable HVAC cost estimates Review documents and establish scope while identifying value engineering opportunities, potential edges, and/or problems Track opportunities with vendors, subcontractors and customers Assist project management in estimate and unit labor breakdown Perform related duties as assigned by supervisorEducation and/or Skill Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Analytical Thorough Computer proficiency, to include MS Office, Adobe, AutoBid Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent follow-up skills High School diploma and minimum 10-years of experienceCompany DescriptionWe are a firm of Registered Professional Engineers and qualified mechanical contractors with a long history of success in the commercial, industrial, and institutional fields.
