Drafter

Multiple immediate needs for telecom drafters at our downtown Chicago office. These candidates are going to be supporting the development of 5G network infrastructure by drafting underground utilities for clients which include Crown Castle and other large wireless infrastructure firms.

Main Responsibilities
Create CAD drawings for telecom underground utility projects
Utilize AutoCAD software to create base maps by manipulating survey data
Establish the public right-of-way
Apply location of existing above and underground utilities from atlases/record drawings received from clients and other municipality processes
May assist in developing survey maps and layouts when necessary
Submit all utility drafts to the City of Chicago Office of Underground Coordination for approval
Will be responsible for completing around two basemap drawings in a week
