Under the direction of the HIM Director, this position provides overall compliance auditing and monitoring functions of physician billing, coding, and documentation. This position additionally serves as a liason for regulatory and billing purposes with the YRMC Medical Staff, the Professional Corporation staff, Registration, Billing and Health Information Staff. Education Preferred:

External Experience Experience Required: 3 years in health care setting with professional billing, coding and/or reimbursement responsibilities. Use of personal computers, including Microsoft programs. Knowledge of coding and HCFA 1500 billing requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, and third party payers. Understands auditing and statistical principles and must be able to apply to daily work responsibilities. Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization including staff, management, and medical staff.
