Valet / Detail Supervisor - Full-time / Part-time

The Valet / Detail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the valets and shuttle drivers to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility, to increase guest convenience, and to maintain an orderly service parking area.

Responsibilities

• Do the right thing!
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of the valets and shuttle drivers.
• Oversees the operation of the valets and shuttle drivers and ensure that team members perform their jobs efficiently and accurately.
• Maintains and schedules appropriate staff to accommodate guest pick-ups and deliveries.
• Communicates with valets and shuttle drivers to ensure dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
• Handles guests' complaints with integrity and poise, and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied guests to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
• Verifies vehicle paperwork before releasing vehicle to third party.
• Runs daily Key Track report.
• Takes vehicles to auction.
• Merchandises the lot.
• Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
• Compares serial numbers of incoming vehicles against invoice.
• Catalogs and stores keys.
• Moves vehicles, as directed by management.
• Prepares and delivers sold vehicles to guests.
• Makes sure all vehicles in assigned lots are kept locked.
• Drives vehicles from the designated lanes to their assigned lots.
• Ensures lots are kept neat and organized and all vehicles are secured.
• Ensures vehicles being washed are clean and up to dealership standards and expectations.
• Assists Sales, Pre-Owned, Service and Parts departments with duties for the lot and/or inventory.
• Merchandizes lot with new and used inventory.
• Keeps the lot looking clean, vehicles clean, all vehicles should have clean appearance
• Locks gates upon open and closing hours.
• Takes vehicles to auction or picking up from wholesalers and auction.
• Assists with deliver or pick up dealer trades.
• Assists with large events, including preparation, organizing, setting up. Offsite events and dealership location.
• Assists with other dealership operation duties as necessary.
• Maintains professional appearance.
