Cleaning & Janitorial Staff

Tri-M is a small family owned cleaning service and offers part-time employment opportunities for men and women who take pride in their work and who possess a strong work ethic.

We have a variety of part time positions available. including Day Time, Nights and Weekend schedules. Most of our employees are PART TIME employees working as cleaning professionals servicing professional buildings in the Greater Boston and South Shore Areas. This is an excellent opportunity for people interested in a stable secondary part-time job. 

We prefer to hire our employees to work in locations close to where they live in. We are currently hiring for PART TIME EMPLOYEES in Quincy, Weymouth, Norwood and areas south of Boston.

PREFERRED SKILLS: 

• commercial cleaning experience
• professional  window cleaning experience
• professional floor finishing experience such as floor buffing, floor stripping and floor finishing.

JOB DUTIES:

• Perform assigned tasks on a timely and consistent basis following the building's task and frequency schedule.
• Tasks will include a mix of the following:
  • Sweep or vacuum and damp mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted floors.
  • Dust work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
  • Clean restrooms including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors and walls.
  • Replenish restroom dispensers with paper products and soap.
  • Clean entrance glass and other interior glass.
  • Work effectively with other team members.
  • Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuum cleaners.
  • Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liners.*
  • Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to communicate in English.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must have ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace.
• Must be reliable.
• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching and lift up to 45 lbs.
